QIMA Life Sciences is a life science department of QIMA (https://www.qima.com/life-sciences) and brings together QIMA Bioalternatives, Newtone Technologies, and Monasterium Laboratory to offer a comprehensive range of research solutions in dermatology and pharmacology.
Monasterium Laboratory is based in Münster, Germany, and is a research company specializing in pre-clinical and clinical services in dermatology for therapeutics, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical applications, offering among other clinically relevant ex vivo and in vivo pre-clinical models and state-of-the-art techniques. Given the continuous growth of our company, we are seeking a team-orientated, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Staff Scientist full-time to join our team. In our warm and welcoming company, you will be assigned with these main tasks:
- Organize the work packages for each assigned project to meet internal and external deadlines under the supervision of a Team Leader
- Propose a new R&D project that allows the company to grow its portfolio and plan/execute activities to meet internal deadlines under the supervision of a Team Leader
- Build scientific knowledge regarding the topics relevant to each assigned project
- Establish and validate new techniques
- Critical and professional data analyses, and interpretation
- Supervise and train technicians
- Critical and professional project documentation following internal QM guidelines
- Perform statistical analysis and presentation of data with appropriate software (e.g. Excel, GraphPad Prism)
- Professionally prepare milestone reports and manuscripts
- Provide project updates to the Team Leader and/or Chief Scientific Officer
Job requirements:
- Completed training as PhD in a relevant discipline
- 2+ years post-doctoral or industry experience
- Strong hands-on experience in dermato-immunology, e.g. proven expertise in FACS, Immunohistochemistry, cytokine array or ELISA
- Publication of at least two peer-reviewed first author paper in an international life sciences journal
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (Company language: English)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
